If you live in New York, the New York Heath Benefit Exchange is the Health Insurance Marketplace to serve you. Use this website to apply for coverage, compare plans and enroll. Open enrollment for this year begins November 1st  until February 15th. Visit the New York Health Benefit Exchange now to learn more or call 2-1-1 HELPLINE (1-800-346-2211 or the three numbers 2-1-1 ) for more local information.

If you live in Pennsylvania, you will use HealthCare.gov to apply for coverage, compare plans and enroll.  Learn more about the Marketplace and how you can get ready.

The IRS has launched a new Affordable Care Act Tax Provisions website that provides information about tax provisions that are in effect now and those that will go into effect in 2014 and beyond.

For those with Market Place insurance coverage you should receive form  1095AHealth Insurance Marketplace Statement would come if you are eligible for the Premium tax credit. This should be mailed to you by January 31, 2016. 

Some employers will be sending out form 1095C  Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage this year. They are  mandated to do such by January 2016 for the 2015 tax year.

If you purchased Health coverage on your own, you may receive this year a 1095B Health Coverage form. This form will  be mandated for 2015 also. You should bring whatever health insurance forms you receive with you to your tax appointment.
