NeighborWorks Week 2015

Tuesday, June 9, 2015

Arbor Housing and Development has adopted the "greenspace" adjacent to our 26 Bridge Street headquarters building in Corning. The adoption includes adding a community picnic table, painting of the benches and a ribbon cutting ceremony. The addition of the table and the painting of the park benches will be done between 6/9-6/10. The agency also plans on adding flowers to the area once the road construction is completed this coming Fall. Arbor has planned a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Crystal City Parks Foundation for June 11th at 11:30. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, Jim's Texas Hots will be providing free hot dogs courtesy of Arbor Housing and Development.

Arbor would like to thank Chuck King, Director of Parks and Recreation City of Corning; Mark Ryckman, City Manager City of Corning; The Corning Gaffer District; Jim's Texas Hots; The Crystal City Parks Foundation; and the City of Corning.
